MEDIATION

Mediation is a voluntary, non-binding method of resolving disputes using an impartial third party. It is the most widely recognised form of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR). Mediation can be used for matters of any sum, and can be used in almost every sector of law.

Whether you have a minor or major dispute, be it a supplier, contractor, client or landlord, mediation can often prove to be the best next step before litigation. If matters can be resolved through mediation, then not only is the matter concluded swiftly which is ideal for businesses, but also far less costly than many other options.

If matters can be resolved through mediation, then not only is the matter concluded swiftly which is ideal for businesses, but also far less costly than many other options. Mediation can take place via telephone, zoom and face to face. Our preferred option is face to face, ideally same day resolution focused cases.

Mediation can take a few hours but normally around half a day to a full day to conclude matters. That said, some cases of extreme complexity and nuances can require multiple days to resolve. Either way, it is in both parties interests to resolve matters as quickly and as amicably as each can to reduce cost of time and money burdened upon one another.
